Good Listeners

Strive for strong, comfortable, eye contact, clarify understanding by asking questions, demonstrate understanding by repeating and rephrasing some of what they hear, allow the speaker to set the pace of the conversation, focus their attention on the speaker, stop themselves from interrupting, and allow the speaker to finish his/her thoughts before changing the subject.
